Scofidio, thanks for the link. I purchased the DVD's. I have only ever seen Subie Sport once in Chapters years ago here in Canada. This will be a great addition to the library. I can't wait to see what they did to build theirs.
My calculations show a 103mm sleeved bore an 81mm stroked crank, flowed heads and a 70mm Throttle body, and 11:7.1CR = 300hp easy!
Thanks again.

A few years back Subie Sport Magazine did a build on a 2.5RS, kept it normally aspirated. Their goal was to see if they could hit the 300 HP mark and make it as fast as an STi while keeping it N.A. If I remember correctly they did it and documented the build well in the magazine. You can buy all the issues of Subie Sport which come on one massive DVD-ROM. Here is a link if that helps:

Yes the car will be kept N.A. This is a low budget build in N.A. I have another build in mind, but not sure if I'll get to it.
It's a 300Hp N.A build for the future...yes it can be done. This one will not be300hp.
