HOW TO PROGRAM KEYLESS ENTRY?
I have a Subaru factory installed keyless entry,but no remote. How can I program a remote? And is any remote okay to use?

No, you need to program it though the ECU, and need the Subaru dealer computer to do it. Dont waste your time with an Advance Auto key fob.

You can't use any remote. It needs to be a Subaru remote from the same generation. However, they are easily programmable by using the button located just under the dash near the door on the driver's side. If you look, you'll see it there. It's all about the press, hold and program. I followed the directions that Durania posted above, but they didn't work for me. I'll see if I can dig up what I ended up finding...
