If rain & snow traction are most important, Continental ContiExtreme DWS. They do have a softer sidewall, so you may have to increase pressure 2-4PSI.
I have GY Eagle GT on my 05 LGT, been happy with them so far. Avoid GY F1 all-season, they get obscenely loud after 5-10K miles.

Continental Extreme Contact DWS.....F'n awesome tire! I live in Florida, so the snow aspect of these tires is not needed. However, I do drive on the beaches from time to time and it rains A Lot and in very heavy amounts in short intervals. The tire has handled all masterfully. A little extra pressure in the tires and your good to go. Hydroplane resistance and wet traction are awesome.

I would recommend the Bridgestone Re960 heard nothing but good for them, but if your gearing these more for winter use then go with Bridgestone Blizzaks. I used them for a BMW I used to have and my buddy and I would drag at the tolls with 3" of snow on the ground they were amazing.

Everything that's been said so far are great tires. I work at Discount Tire and if i could choose any tire we sell I'd go with the Michelin MXV4's i think. Very high rated all season tire that will fit 17's 18's. Pricey though.

You get what you pay for.

i have cheap Fuzion HRI's now and they suck. But with AWD, i don't notice.
