i've got a 95 impreza 1.6 non turbo, its recently started popping at the throttle body.help..?
its an automatic car, it jumps out of over drive alot when this happens and im guessing to compensate for the power..
Additional Details:
when i hit a hill or when its under load its jerking and pops back at the throttle body, sorta like an ignition problem.

Sounds like what you are describing is a failing transmission.
Kinda hard to decipher from your description though.

Go to the local junk yard n get a MAF sensor n give it a try. It may just suprise you. I'll subscribe to this to check on ya so let us know. Oh, a real quick check on the coil n plug wires, get a spray bottle that sprays a real fine mist (do this at night for best results) n spray your coil n plug wires n see if n where they leak. If they are you'll definately see it!
