ok, how do I disconnect the stupid daytime running lights?
I am tired of replacing bulbs, so I want to disconnect the daytime running lights. hopefully that will help the bulbs last longer....

If you tuck your head under the passenger side glovebox and look up, you should see a 10pin yellow harness. Push the tab in and unplug and you have your DRL disabled

i just did this on my forester not sure if your car will the same. but look in the engine bay on the passenger side on the wheel well there is a box with a sticker that says caution hot just un plug it and you drl are off

What kind of bulbs are you using? Are you touching any of the glass when you change the bulbs? The oil from you skin will shorten their life.
